Condolences/ DIANA GAJEWSKY (NONE) I was visiting the precious angels website and was touched by Austin's story. I, too, lost my 24 year old daughter to a tragic motorcycle "accident" on March 25, 2006. Actually, it was a road rage case but the person responsible was let off scott-free. Your son and my daughter were so much alike...loving, exceptional young persons enjoying all that life had to offer. It is unfair that they were taken away so young. I can feel your pain and want you to know that eventhough I don't know you or Austin, you are still in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Diana

I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how sorry I am to read about your precious son. I know your pain and my heart goes out to you. Since I also lost my 21 year old son, Jamie 6 months ago to a tragic car accident,sorrow is our constant companion now. It breaks my heart to know of another you child taken too soon. With so much love & life to offer. But take comfort knowing Austin's spirit lives on and and he's not alone. Also love like this never goes away, it's here to stay everyday.
As I read Austin beautiful site, you can feel the love and despair. I couldn't help but thinking of how much your son and My Jamie have in common. First of all they were outgoing and always striving to do the best. My Jamie's second love after family & friends was his Honda Civic and he also love to restore cars which he had rebuilt an Acura , w/ body kit and all., It was a beautiful car, but sold it to buy the Honda, b/c he wanted to race his car in the raceway..He also loved his truck and also had dirt bike . He had also wanted to buy a street bike and I had the same feelings as you when Jamie got his Dirt Bike, b/c it was my fear that he would hurt or kill him self on it. Then he finally made the decision to sell the bike, since he was to attend college this past fall to take his auto tech course. So he wanted to pay off some of his bills. He also worked partime at a Honda dealer.
I just keep thinking if our boys meet up in heaven, they will have a lot to talk about. I know each day our pain is only greater b/c we miss our son's so badly and all the things that should have been...... Someday, we will get to resume those things, when we too meet them in heaven.
Also, you have beautiful tributes for your Austin, I especially like the picture of him on the carbon fiber Hood. I would like to do the same, once we get another honda civic and do it up the way Jamie had his Honda. You said that Austin liked Acura's as well. So I have attached a picture of Jamie's old car.
